Its the holiday season again and may students have asked how they can get on the internet while they are home with their Brehm Laptops.
To access the internet from home you mush have the following:
- Internet service at your house or home
- A standard ethernet cable (shown above)
Connect one end of the ethernet cable to your home’s router or modem. This is a device supplied by your family’s internet service provider. Connect the other end of the cable to your Brehm laptop. The port is located on the left side of your laptop near the USB ports.
You will then be able to access the internet from your home.
Two side notes:
- You cannot access any wireless network outside of Brehm and there are no exceptions to this rule
- When you are connected to the internet at your home (via ethernet cable) you will still have a basic level of internet filtering. This restriction is mandated by state and federal regulations and there are no exceptions to this rule.
