Below are the basicĀ guidelines, that need to be enforced by staff for how the students handel their computers. These are in place to minimize damage and usability problems, students should continually be prompted when not abiding by these handeling rules and if necessary given checks.
Residential
- Student computers need to be shutdown every night, turned into the assistant lounge and placed on the charger.
- Ensure all students leave the Dorms in the morning with their laptop in its proper case and have their power cord for the school day.
- Students are not permitted to remove their computers from campus, except for extended breaks and where a staff member has received verbal or written confirmation that the parents/guardians except all responsibility for the equipment while it is off campus.
Educational
- Students are required at all times to transport their computer in its designated case, and securely close it.
- Students are required at all times to keep their power cord with their computer case.
- Students need to restart/shutdown on a daily basis, preferably every night.
General
- Do not store items other than the laptop with it in its case.
- No food or drink while using the laptop.
