Equipment Checkout
The Technology Department maintains a set of equipment that is available to staff to checkout. These are items that may have specialized purposes or that are not practical to issue to every person at the school. The checkout process is simple.
- Send a request for one, or more of the items listed here (for school purposes) to techsupport@brehm.org
- Please send this request to us at least 24 hours in advance. That will give us time to check the equipment over and make sure that it is working for you.
- Also include information about the event or project that you will be using the equipment for
- Prior to your event you will need to fill out some paperwork in our office – to check out the equipment.
- Some equipment may require your supervisor to approve the equipment checkout. (This is usually related to our more expensive items)
iPevo VZ-1 HD Document Camera
The VZ-1 HD is the updated model of the original P2V USB Document Camera provides real-time video capture for documents, pictures, and three-dimensional objects. As well as direct connection to VGA Projectors.
Computer Projector
This NEC projector is compatible with any VGA enabled device and is useful for classrooms and small to medium sized conference rooms.
Chromebook
A Chromebook is a laptop running Chrome OS as its operating system. The devices are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and data residing “in the cloud”.
Desktop Mic
Designed to combat the most common pitfalls of recording, Nessie automatically adapts to whatever you’re recording, applying professional studio processing combined with a built-in pop filter and internal shockmount, to produce expertly finished sound, without the need for additional mixing or editing.
Desktop Recording
Studio recording equipment is available that will allow staff to connect microphones and instruments to their Apple computer via USB. This is useful for larger groups in web conferences or for desktop audio recordings of individuals.
iPod Nano
Complete with music for your next event. If you need specific music on the device, please make advanced arrangements with the Technology Department. Our computers are the only ones that are able to add tracks to the device.

Spotlight
The FS-1000 spotlight is a lighting system complete with adjustable aperture, focus and intensity. It is able to project light approximately 85 ft. Availability of the lighting system is depended on Theater productions – as they take precedence for checkout. Lighting system comes with light, stand and case.
