When determining if the internet is down or you are having a problem with your connection please follow the steps below before reporting the problem to techsupport@brehm.org or Extension 1508.
- Restart the computer. Quite often this will correct any issues.
- Open any web browser and goto www.google.com. This is because this site is always up. *If this page doesn’t open then you are not connected to the internet please contact technology by dialing 1508
- Use google and search for Brehm. *If you get an error page then you are not connected to the internet please contact technology by dialing 1508.
- If your search returned results then you are connected to the internet. You might be experience other user related problems such as:
* A bad internet address (typically a typo or an incorrect address).
* The site you are browsing to is blocked. Please fill out the web-unblocker form on this site here, or read this post for more information.
* The site is experiencing technically difficulties, if you would like to confirm this please send an e-mail to techsupport@brehm.org with as much information as you can and we will try to confirm this.
* The site has a conflict with our firewall, these issues are rare but when they come up they are complicated at best to remedy. Please send a detailed e-mail to techsupport@brehm.org include who, where, when this all occurred – as much detail as possible. We will do some investigation before contacting you, but this process can take several days to remedy if at all.
