Staff have the ability to unzip all BookShare books downloaded from our Brehm accounts. We have provided an easy to use application for accomplishing this.
Simply download the Brehm BookShare Unzipper and open the dmg file. Inside of this package you will see 1 application BookShare Unzipper you can run it from here or drag it to your desktop. When the application is running simply drop the BookShare zip file into the window (1 at a time).
The zip file that you downloaded should be saved to your desktop. Once the folder with the data is created you should upload the folder to the Student Public Drive so that the other students can access the book.
The Brehm BookShare Unzipper will create a folder in the same place the zip file is located and within that folder will be the contents of the book. With that said, you must have write acces (be able to save) to the folder the BookShare zip file is in.
